Annual report from Cyprus Central Bank

Central Bank of Cyprus will be required to submit an annual report to the House of Representatives on its financial policy, informing the parliamentary finance committee on changes in strategy and potential risks.

According to the chairman of the parliamentary committee Nicolas Papadopoulos, “The House of Representatives shall be informed of any financial risks that may affect the stability of the island.”

However, he said that this information is confidential, but this restriction shall not apply on members of the parliament.
