Logistics Officer

Our client is an international distributor of medical equipment. The company is working with supplier’s distributors and medical specialists in countries around the world. They supply leading edge high-tech medical equipment, in a reliable, efficient and cost effective manner.

We are looking for a reliable Logistics Officer to be responsible for the overall supply chain management. You will organise and monitor the storage and distribution of goods. The goal is to manage the entire order cycle so as to enhance business development and ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction.

General responsibilities:

  • Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services
  • Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle
  • Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers
  • Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
  • Arrange warehouse, catalogue goods, plan routes and process shipments
  • Resolve any arising problems or complaints

Requirements of a successful candidate:

  • Proven working experience in logistics
  • Proficient in standard logistics software
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
  • Fluent knowledge of English
  • Chinese and Russian Language would be considered as an advantage
  • BS in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain would be consider as an advantage
