Marshall Islands

On the 2nd of December 2015 OLIESERVE’s team was represented at Marshall Islands Registry corporate event. Angelina Kalinina and Eleni Miltiadous represented OLIESERVE at the seminar where several speakers have talked about the incorporation of companies under the Marshall Islands Registry.

The most appealing choice for the creation of a company under the laws of the Republic of Marshall Islands (RMI) is the International Business Company (IBC). There are indeed numerous advantages in establishing an IBC in the RMI, such as short incorporation period (just one business day), low costs, and modern corporate law, based on the US State of Delaware Companies Law and Zero Tax rate.

The Corporate Requirements are also easy to adhere to as the minimum number of Shareholders and Directors is one and a secretary must be appointed. Further, the Directors can be individuals or business entities, based anywhere in the world. In addition, there is no need for the filing of Annual Return, Audited Accounts or Mandatory Filing of Directors, Officers and Shareholders minutes. Bearer shares are also possible under the RMI Company Registry.

The RMI Company Register provides a suitable destination for companies specializing in asset management, vessel ownership estate planning, for tax planning or joint ventures, for the registration of IPOs or Real/Intellectual Property Holdings.

It provides simple administration process and modern corporate law that allows flexibility and transparency at the same time. RMI is definitely a choice to keep your eyes on!
